We’re taking a look at some of Auckland's best playgrounds. This week: Parrs Park, Seymour Road, Glen Eden.

Parrs Park playground is an orchard-themed playground best known for its tall tower, two awesome slides and array of climbing activities.
Other highlights include a caterpillar seesaw and rocking bumble bees for younger children, plenty of swing options and a basketball half court located a short walk from the playground.
Sand and water play is another great feature of this playground with an interactive area providing kids with hours of sand play fun and water flow experimentation.

The nearby large open green space is perfect for extra games and activities, and car parking is available for easy accessibility.
Parrs Park is definitely a playground that you’ll want to pack a picnic for, as chances are your kids will want to stay there for a while!
