Have you thought about…
- Playing in the fog at the new Upon a Pond public art installation at Albany Stadium Pool.
- Visiting Waitakere Library to pick up a new book, discover What Lies Beneath, and be wowed by some of the incredible Black Stacks NZ Rep Team demonstrating their skills. They can stack and boy can they stack fast! Go to aucklandlibraries.co.nz to find out what activities are on at your local library.
- Taking a picnic and settling in for the afternoon under the many sheltered areas at the seaside Long Bay Regional Park.
- Adventuring over to Mairangi Bay for stunning views of the Hauraki Gulf.
- Biking at Sanders Reserve in Pāremoremo. There’s 22km of mountain bike trails to explore and a 500m trail perfect for kids under 10.
These are just some of the many services and facilities that Auckland Council and your local board support in your area.
