Contact options

From 6th November, Auckland Council’s south Auckland-based consenting and licensing teams are moving to Manukau and are introducing a variety of contact and options for customers across South Auckland.

Customers with general enquiries or wanting to apply for services can do this online.

Following the recent website makeover, it’s much easier to use with many Council services also now available online – including applying for consents.

Customers can also speak in person to Customer Service Representatives in the Manukau, Pukekohe, Papakura and Waiuku Council Contact Centres or call the Auckland Contact Centre toll free on 09 301 0101 for advice and guidance.

Booking an appointment

If customers need more detailed consenting or licensing attention, they will be connected to an expert by phone or can book an appointment on pre-set ‘clinic days’ which are Wednesdays in Papakura and Thursdays in Pukekohe, 8.30am-4.30pm. If clinic times are not convenient, appointments can also be made through local Contact Centres.

Auckland Council Director of Regulatory Services Penny Pirrit says pre-booking customer appointments allows specialist staff to prepare properly so they can provide the right information and expertise.

"Pre-booking appointments will make it more efficient and convenient for customers and instills confidence they’re talking to the right people in Council about their needs."

Auckland Council’s south Auckland consenting and licensing teams will now be based in Kotuku House in Manukau from 6th November.
