Emergency Mobile Alert issued for Domain Crescent, Muriwai

Auckland Emergency Management has issued an Emergency Mobile Alert (EMA) at 12.43 this afternoon to provide important safety messages due to the heightened risk of a landslide in Muriwai. Residents of Muriwai on Domain Crescent are advised to immediately evacuate.

Muriwai residents on DOMAIN CRESCENT should:

  • Immediately evacuate.
  • Make their way to the intersection of Domain Cres and Motutara Rd where emergency services will assist.
  • Leave on foot, do not drive.
  • Take essential items only including pets.  
  • Check on neighbours who may need help. If safe to do so.  
  • Share this information if it doesn’t cause delay.
  • Call 111 if they cannot evacuate themselves.
