It’s time to welcome the world and UNITE for football in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland!  The FIFA Women's World Cup is literally kicking off in Auckland with our Football Ferns taking on Norway in the opening match at Eden Park on 20 July.

FIFA Fan Festival

FIFA Fan Festival™ at The Cloud on Queens Wharf is free entry for all ages and will show 48 world cup matches live on a giant screen. Come and enjoy live music, entertainment, local culture, food, beverages and interactive games. The giant screen has grandstand seating, so bring all your friends and whānau to The Cloud.

Eden Park matches 

The streets around Eden Park will come to life two hours before every FIFA WWC 2023 match with this week’s performers including the opening match New Zealand v Norway, Thursday 20 July, 7pm and USA v Vietnam, Saturday 22 July, 1pm.

Plan your journey

Your match ticket gets you free transport on all trains, special event, and scheduled bus services from 4 hours before kick-off. To plan your journey, visit the Auckland Transport events page. to travel around Auckland on public transport outside of match days or on ferries, you’ll need an AT HOP card.
