The Storm Recovery Navigation Service has now closed as of 19 December, as most whānau affected by the 2023 severe weather events have moved forward in their recovery journey.
A range of community and wellbeing support is still available, including help with insurance, finances, mental and emotional wellbeing, and accommodation. You can find these resources on our Social and Wellbeing Support webpage.
If you are on the Category 2P, Category 3, or disputes pathways, you can continue to contact those teams directly. For general 2023 storm recovery queries, please email recoveryoffice@aucklandcouncil.govt.nz.
If you or your whānau need assistance and would like to find out about support services available for storm affected Aucklanders, come along to one of our upcoming drop-in sessions.
At these free drop-ins, you can speak to one of our Storm Recovery Navigators one-on-one about your situation. Our team can help connect you with support agencies, provide you with information about recovery, and help you access wellbeing, social and health services.
We know that recovery is challenging and we are here to help you get back on your feet.
Upcoming drop-ins
Update: With our Navigator service winding down, we are no longer carrying out drop-in clinics. See our Social and Wellbeing Support web page for support resources.
