Investment to support Papakura Marae housing plan

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has announced a $1 million investment to support Papakura Marae's kaumātua housing plan.

Work is on track for completion in early 2019 and an official opening celebration is planned for March or April 2019.

The plan for the town centre has been adopted following feedback from the local community.

The Aotea Centre will close for refurbishment in October.
