What happens if it's raining?

A weather call will be made by the organisers closer to event date or on event day. If you have been given an allocated place by the event organiser, they should let you know directly. If the event is on a “turn up” basis, please check back here on the website or follow us on the Facebook page for the latest event cancellations.

How do I know if the event is fully booked already?

A FULLY BOOKED strip will appear on the event image when all places have been allocated. We are dependent on the event organiser to notify us in a timely fashion.

Do I need to buy tickets for these events?

World of Cultures events are a mix of free, paid, koha or free but with allocated places due to limited capacity. Click on the event description for relevant contact details and bookings.

What does koha mean?

Some event holders ask for an optional donation to cover basic costs. Please offer the suggested amount – or more if you wish.

Can I smoke at the event?

No. World of Cultures events are smoke-free. This includes vaping.

Is there parking?

Some event holders may have available parking – please ask them when you book or consider using public transport. You can plan your journey by visiting the Auckland Transport website.
