Howick Local Board has endorsed Panuku Development Auckland’s recommendation to quit a small parcel of land at 303 Te Irirangi Drive. The land makes up part of a 10,083 square metre site at Clover Park.

About 9400 square metres of the site is required for transport infrastructure use. The balance – about 680 square metres – will be made part of a land swap with the owner of neighbouring land.

303 Te Irirangi Drive is a vacant site acquired by the Manukau City Council in 2002 that has been held for flood remediation and future transport purposes.

In 2013, the land was taken from the owner of the adjoining 128 Ormiston Road in Flat Bush in accordance with the Public Works Act for roading purposes.

The owner indicated an interest in acquiring a small parcel of 303 Te Irirangi Drive to square up their property boundaries.
