Our meet-ups are designed to create community for people using New Zealand Sign Language. Coffee, tea and good vibes provided.
We have two groups suitable for different skill levels:
Birkenhead Library: beginner NZSl users, with practise through songs, games and books. These sessions are voice-on, but please be respectful of hard of hearing and deaf participants.
Glenfield Library: confident NZSL users, with practise through voice-off conversations and discussions.
These two groups run on opposite weeks to allow you to go to both, or choose the one that fits you best. Please note, we are NOT teaching.
