Northcotes new greenway runs through the heart of the town, following the newly daylighted Te Ara Awataha stream and connecting a number of local reserves with each other and with the community.
As the ecosystems grow and mature along the newly established greenway, expert ecologists from the Kaipātiki Project will monitor the stream and surrounding bush and actively regenerate the native flora and fauna.
We’re calling on the community to join us in this endeavour to regenerate this new, nature-based community space. Join us “behind the scenes” and see what it takes to get new ecosystems thriving!
