Background
In August 2012 Grey Lynn 2030 started the Car Boot Market. Held on the Last Sunday of the Month in the Grey Lynn RSC Car park and has become a much enjoyed community institution. Our market is a place for anyone who wants to sell, swap, downsize, or just give things away they no longer need.
Twelve years on, the climate has changed - the market has been rain-affected many times, which is annoying for both our shoppers and sellers. So we have been looking for a covered space to run the market.
We now have a new second, central venue in Auckland's City Centre - Victoria St Car Park.
Auckland Council, Heart of the City and Auckland Transport have all agreed to let us use space on the ground floor for our new market.
We have a new name to reflect our passion and what drives our market - ReUse Market.
Details
The ReUse Market will run on the second Sunday of each Month - starting on Sunday April 14th. Vehicle entry at 30 Kitchener Street and pedestrian entry from High Street
The market is for second hand items only – no new stuff as we think there is already enough stuff on our planet.

Selling at the ReUse Market
Our monthly market is an alternative to running your own garage sale, no advertising necessary (we take care of that), no need for the hassles with Facebook Marketplace and Trade Me.
You can sell from a table or from the ground (bring a mat, bring a table, bring a way to hang and display clothes).
We request you drop off your items for sale and then find a car park in the car parking building.
One price – $30 per site
Booking a Spot to Sell from
To be sure you get a space please PRE BOOK and PAY IN ADVANCE for your spot. If you turn up on the day we cannot guarantee you a space.
We are taking bookings here for our first market - Sunday April 14th.

Hours
The ReUse Market opens for the stall holders on the Second Sunday of the month at 7.30 a.m and to shoppers from 9.00 am until 12.00. Sellers please don't turn up too early. We will be there at 7.00 am to guide you in to your place.
