Started back in 1967 by Hugh Dixon and was conducted by Rod McLeay for 41 years. The baton is now held by Michael Jamieson, who has conducted the band for the past 7 years.
Comprising mainly school-age and university students, the band performs regularly across the Auckland region.
They have proudly achieved Gold at the New Zealand Concert Bands Association Festival and, most recently in 2023, earned a prestigious Silver award.
