Sub71 A Walking Tour Of Historic Jewish Auckland

Visit 21 sites of historical significance on this intriguing walk. Your knowledgeable guide will highlight the stories of the Jewish community’s involvement in early Auckland.

The tour will take about 2.5 hours, covering 3km in a gentle, mostly downhill walk. Starting at the iconic Symonds Street Cemetery, one of the country’s oldest urban cemeteries, we will head down Karangahape Road, through Myers Park, Aotea Square, Princes Street, Waterloo Quadrant, High Street and the walk will conclude downtown on Customs Street.
