This carving exhibition of carving works by Te Oro resident artist Jim To’o Stretton (JS Carving) showcases the culmination of his residency in a new body of work.
Jim To’o Stretton is a Glen Innes based artist of Samoan and European descent with 15 years of carving experience - a craft inspired by his father, after whom he is named.
Carving is a deep passion of his that connects Jim to his roots and heritage. Jim is a passionate advocate for Pacific people and culture.
