Nau mai, haere mai! Come and help save our local Whau Stream tributary from rubbish and invasive weeds at this community stream clean up. We'll meet at the carpark area on Pecan Place. Together, we’ll transform this stream into a thriving awa that flows well to the sea, and provides a safe habitat for native birds and fish.
Gumboots or sturdy closed-toe shoes are essential. Bring a hat, rain jacket and gardening gloves if you have any. Kids welcome but must be supervised. We'll finish with a cuppa and chocolate biscuits together at the end.
Hosted by Pecan Power and supported by EcoMatters and Auckland Council's Healthy Waters department.
