In this fun and creative workshop, kids will make their own 3D artwork inspired by native birds.
Using bird templates as a starting point, they will decorate their designs with fabric, paint, magazines, and a variety of craft materials to add colour and texture. The birds will then be attached to small branches and set against a beautifully painted background, creating a unique nature-inspired piece to take home.
Along the way, participants will also learn about New Zealand’s native birds, making this workshop both creative and educational. A great experience that encourages imagination, exploration and connection with nature.
Please note that this activity is for tamariki over five years old with adult or caregiver supervision.
