Young people in Warkworth are helping design a new playground, which will be developed by Warkworth Lions with a $100,000 grant from Rodney Local Board.
A local board focus is to provide play spaces and equipment for Rodney’s young people. Given its possible location, next to the skate ramp near Baxter Street and Lucy Moore Memorial Park, the design will also need to incorporate broader community aspirations for this part of Warkworth.
The project will be completed by June 2017.
