A stray kitten was found at the CRL construction site in Britomart by Downer Soletanche JV workers on Valentine’s Day.
Though scared and hungry, he bonded with the workers after some mandatory cuddling and was tentatively named Voodoo Valentine.
A vet check-up found him to be eight weeks’ old and severely malnourished.
With no one coming forward to claim him, the kitten has now found a forever home with one of the workers’ family and has been renamed Shadow.
