Sunday 14 April 2 to 4pm: Movies Under the Sea - Enjoy this classic story of a girl with a beautiful voice who is looking to control her own life and get herself some legs.

Monday 15 April 2 to 3pm: Moana Craft Extravaganza - Join us for a fun session of collaborative creativity! We will be making a big sea-themed artwork together using shells and recycled materials.

Wednesday, 17 April, 1 to 4pm: Fishy Printing Workshop - Come and join us and learn how they printed in the past! Graham and his almost 200-year-old Printing Press is back. Bookings are made at the library by registration only. For ages 8+

Thursday 18 April, 11 to 12pm: DIY Mini Worm Farms - Pip from Compost Collective is teaching us how to make our own DIY Mini Worm Farm - Come and discover how easy it is! Register at compostcollective.org.nz/events

Sunday 21 April, 2 to 4pm: Movies Under the Sea - Watch a story about an unlikely but strong friendship between a human being and a sea monster disguised as a human.

Tuesday 23 April, 10 to 11am: Taniwha Craft - Can you find a Taniwha? Join us and make your very own Taniwha craft to take home.

Wednesday 24 April, 3 to 4pm: Under the Sea 3D Paper Craft - Try your hand in making a 3D sea creature. Pick your choice of a squid, turtle, or shark. Difficulty level from easy to tricky. Recommended for ages 7+

Saturday 27 April & Sunday 28 April, 2.30 to 4pm: Rangitahi Self Defence Class – Learn basic self-defence skills with Close Quarters Combat! Join us for two sessions that offer invaluable skills and techniques for personal protection. Bookings are made at the library by registration only. Ages 13+
