Celebrate cultures by learning about rongoa and their healing practices. Learn about ayurvedic practices from India and the medicinal properties of the spices you have in your very own pantry.

Participate in a rongoa Māori workshop to understand the healing properties of our native plants or settle your mauri in a tai chi and breathing exercises workshop. Join ‘Anau Mesui-Henry and the Four Shells Kava Lounge whaanau for a special workshop about the healing powers of kava, a ceremonial and social drink made from a powdered root found throughout the Pacific.

Through the stunning lens of Gretta Escudeiro, explore the beauty of the Xingu Indigenous Park – This powerful exhibition honours the strength of the Xingu Indigenous people, and their struggle to protect Brazil’s precious whenua.
